Adrenal body types have a strong, stocky appearance; solid, heavy musculature; shoulders broader than hips; wide, grounded stance; and medium to large bone structure. Height can range from short to tall. Can easily build muscle mass and definition; also easily gain weight. Weight gain begins in abdomen and thighs, secondary weight gain is all over entire body.
The Adrenal Body Type
Meals - Breakfast is best light, even with just a piece of fruit or a vegetable juice, but don't skip it. If you are in the process of rebuilding your adrenal glands, add protein like fish or fowl. Limit beef to once a month or less. Your largest meal may be at lunch or dinner.

Foods - Emphasize cheese, nuts, seeds, and vegetables at lunch. Raw vegetables are best at lunch; cooked vegetables at dinner. Broccoli, zucchini and yellow squash should always be eaten raw. Eat more raw than cooked vegetables.

The Pancreas Body Type
Dietary emphasis - focus on VARIETY and ROTATION. The tendency is to eat the same foods 3-4 days in a row. The problem is that frequently eating the same food depletes pancreatic enzymes. While a 4-day rotation is ideal, a 2-day rotation works, when the same food is eaten at a different meal.

Dietary emphasis - Heavy breakfast with emphasis on protein - either from concentrated plant sources such as red algae, hemp hearts, nuts, seeds, bee pollen, or animal protein prepared with as little fat as possible (beef, organ meats, chicken, fish). Protein at breakfast supplies more energy and decreases appetite later in day; too little protein creates a craving for sweets later on.
